Replacing spreadsheets with a real course management tool for students, teachers, and programs.
Overview

Y-Knot (Knowledge, Nurturing, Opportunities and Teaching) is a youth education nonprofit and one of the client teams I designed for as a Product Designer at Hack4Impact. This is the final showcase deck from the Fall 2023 semester for their Course Management Portal.

Y-Knot's logo was loud, so instead of muting it for the deck, I built the whole palette around it.
Designing the Slide Deck

Y-Knot's KNOT logo is loud, so I pulled that palette straight into the deck instead of flattening it into something safer/muted.  I still wanted it to read as clean, so much of the colors are flat (no gradients or detailed graphics to clutter the screen) with white as accent to break up such a loud scheme.

The 'Processes' sidebar used in the presentation is additionally an homage to the actual nav bar used in the product we created.
