Hack4Impact is the University of Maryland's premiere nonprofit software development club, building digital tools for nonprofit organizations, which means the design team is never just working on one thing.
I started as a Product Designer in 2023 where I designed low to high fidelity Figma prototypes for education platforms serving K–12 students in Maryland, including Y-Knot and All Districts Read. I sat in on weekly client meetings to pull real requirements, then worked sprint to sprint with product managers and engineers to develop a finished product.
In 2025 I moved into Co-Director of Design, overseeing every product designer in the club and designing club assets.
While still on project teams, I designed our final presentations for the clients and other teams:
As Design Director, I designed the announcement graphics introducing our directors and co-executives following our main brand colors and style:
Project Showcase is where every team presents what they've built that semester, to sponsors, alumni, and the rest of campus. I designed the 2026 year's promo for showcases:
I additionally designed the recap for the Spring 2025 showcase:
Beyond social graphics, I put together the club's sponsorship brochure: the piece that actually gets handed to companies deciding whether to fund us.
I also designed merch for the club. Here's the old merch first, followed by the reimagined designs.
